Ukraine starts preparations for Eurovision 2023

The Ukrainian authorities have started preparations for hosting the Eurovision song contest in the country in 2023 despite the ongoing hostilities, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Kirill Timoshenko announced on Monday.
"Ukraine is already starting preparations for the Eurovision 2023. We show the world our openness, hospitality, and ability to implement large-scale projects," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Timoshenko added that the safety of the contest is the main issue for the Ukrainian authorities and for the European Broadcasting Union.
