VILAYAT GULIYEV LEFT MOSCOW FOR KIEV
According to AzerTaj personal correspondent in Moscow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev visiting Moscow on the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov, left for Kiev, November 25, Ukraine to participate in the special sitting of the CIS Council of Ministers.
Reportedly, during the session, the Ministers will focus on the latest developments in Georgia and possibly adopt a joint statement on the situation.
Aleksanr Yakovenko, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told journalists the special sitting of the Council had been initiated by Ukraine: “all CIS countries express concern over this issue” he said.
Mr. Yakovenko stressed as well that during the meeting, the Russian Foreign Minister would updated its participants on his trip to Georgia, and added that the situation un Georgia had been discussed in the course of negotiations between the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan in Moscow on November 24.
