ANOTHER FOUR PROJECTS TO BE IMPLEMENTED

In frame of higher educational institutions technical assistance program, EU TACIS program started implementation of new four projects in Azerbaijan.

“ Tempus” program envisages rendering technical assistance by EU countries for higher education systems in CIS countries by means of cooperation with higher educational institutions. The project, “Modern engineering education in higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan” with budget in € 296 thousand will be implemented in Azerbaijan Technical University, State Oil Academy, Sumgait State University and Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute.

The project, “Economics of building: construction & protection” totaling €255 thousand, will be implemented in Azerbaijan University for Architecture and Construction.

EU allocated € 296,7 thousand for the project “Familiarization with the ecological knowledge in Southern Caucasus region” implementing in Ganja Agricultural Academy. While the project, “Creation of national centers of knowledge on biological and veterinarian education in the Southern Caucasus” with budget € 247 thousand is to be realized in Baku State University and Medical University. All the projects will be implemented jointly with the European Universities within two years.
