ARROT AND ECHO CONTINUE RECONSTRUCTION WORK

Agency for Restoration and Reconstruction of Occupied Territories /ARROT/ and the international humanitarian organization ECHO provided with the financial support from the European Commission continue the restoration work in provinces of Azerbaijan Republic.

Reportedly, since 1998, five tranches set aside by the European Commission have been spent on reconstruction and putting into operation of water supply, reclamation and energy systems, railroad, schools, apartment houses and social objects in 21 villages of Fizuli, sub artesian wells, a school, pump station in Agdam, sub artesian wells, schools in Agjabadi region, energy systems and railroad Dashburun-Goradiz in Gazakh regions of the republic.

Reconstruction of apartment houses in 5 villages of Fizuli region, and laying 47 km long 11 kV overhead transmission line will be finished in the fourth quarter of the current year.
