ASSISTING ELECTORS
The Central Election Commission and International Fund for Election Systems have released instructions and recommendations in Azerbaijani and Russian languages to enlighten voters on the October 15 presidential elections: “The reference book for elections day” explaining election-related terms, role and duties of the electors and relevant commissions, as well as providing necessary information on the election course from opening of polling stations to counting of votes; the booklet dealing with the voting rules, and the information bulletin of the independent monitoring center “Transparent elections”. The information can also be found on the center’s website at www.transparentelections.org .
As was reported earlier, the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan holds appropriate trainings and seminar-sessions in all regions of the Republic.
