Astrakhan regional Department of the All Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis expressed their protest against broadcasting by the Turkish ‘Star TV’ of the false and slanderous information concerning President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev’s health, and resolutely condemned Azerbaijan’s mass media joining the dirty campaign.

According to the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad, The members of Astrakhan regional Department of the All Russian Congress of Azerbaijanis takes the campaign of the Star TV as an attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of the republic and cause damage to Turkish-Azerbaijani relations. They and thousands of Azerbaijanis residing in the region declare their support of Heydar Aliyev’s internal and foreign policy and his candidacy for the upcoming Presidential elections.
