ATU MARKS DAY OF GENOCIDE

A ceremony to revere the memory of victims of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis took place at the Azerbaijani Technical University /ATU/, March 30.

ATU rector Prof. Havar Mammadov told of the perfidious policy pursued by Armenians against our people over many decades.

Historian Israfil Mammadov delivered report in which he gave many facts of barbarism of dashnaks and reminded of massacres committed in Baku, Shamakhi, Guba, Lankaran, Garabakh, Zangezur, Irevan etc. He said that political assessment of those events was given by nationwide leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. In conclusion, he urged the youth to remember this period of history.
