Employees of all hydraulic and thermal power stations, repairing, installation branches of the company are to take part in the competition held in 17 nominations and three directions (power stations, high voltage electric networks and management improvement), press-service of the Company reports.

The offers are expected to promote the increase of energetic blocks’ capacity, decrease of fuel utilization during production of electric power, decrease of losses during transmission, increase and improvement of technical parameters of some aggregates.

Six prized are meant for winners: first - 2 million manats, two second - 1 million manats each, and three third prizes - 500 thousand manats each.

It was pointed out that a competition of the kind was held in the year of 2002. It was aimed at increase of capacity of three biggest hydraulic power stations of the country - the Azerbaijan, Alibayramli, Shimal stations. The commission chose the most interesting offers, which were introduced into production.

According to senior engineer of electric power production department, Suleymanov, such kind of competitions are of great importance for energetic field of Azerbaijan and improves production in whole. Qualitative specialists, involved into production, are aware of technical shortcomings of the branch and often put forward offers for get rid of them. After putting them into life, production process is modernized. “As a result, the total productivity increases and talented and perspective specialists are encouraged by money prizes”, he said.
