AZERBAIJAN FM RECEIVES COPIES OF CREDENTIALS FROM JORDAN’S CHARGE D’AFFAIRS IN BAKU
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Tuesday with newly appointed Charge D’affairs of Jordan in Baku Adel Adayalah to receive copies of his credentials.
The Jordanian diplomat conveyed the greetings and best wishes from his country’s FM to Elmar Mammadyarov.
Mr. Adayalah welcomed the level of bilateral relations between Jordan and Azerbaijan.
The diplomat said he will make every possible efforts to contribute to enhancement of Jordan-Azerbaijan cooperation in various spheres including politics, economy, culture and tourism.
Elmar Mammadyarov recalled a last year visit by Jordanian King Abdullah II to Baku, adding it marked a new stage in the development of Azerbaijan-Jordan relations.
The Azerbaijani FM also spoke of his April visit to the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Mr. Mammadyarov welcomed the opening of Jordan’s embassy in Baku, and said he believes the Jordanian Charge D’affairs will soon be appointed as his country’s ambassador to Azerbaijan.
