AZERBAIJAN FULFILLS COMMITMENTS BEFORE CE
Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev met the delegation headed by Head of the CE Ago monitoring group Ambassador Pietro Ercole Ago, being on visit in Azerbaijan. As AzerTAj correspondent was informed, Minister Vilayat Guliyev warmly welcoming the guests, stressed mutually fruitful cooperation between the Ago monitoring group and Azerbaijan, informed on democratic reforms in the field of media freedom, protection of human rights, and spoke on Nagorno Karabakh conflict and way of its settlement.Ambassador Pietro Ago, speaking of the purpose of the visit, noted with pleasure a number of Azerbaijan’s positive movements in the field of fulfillment of the commitments, put forward by the Ago monitoring group of CE.Then, the guest drew attention to the coordination of Azerbaijani legislation with European one.Other issues of mutual interest were discussed as well.
