Azerbaijan National Paralympic Committee, UNICEF ink MoU

The Azerbaijan National Paralympic Committee and the United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The document was signed by President of the Azerbaijan National Paralympic Committee Ilgar Rahimov and UNICEF representative to Azerbaijan Edward Carwardine.
The MoU aims at further developing the Children's Paralympic Movement in Azerbaijan, thereby contributing to the social rehabilitation, healthy development and social integration of children and youth with disabilities through sport.
According to the memorandum, the Children's Paralympic Movement will henceforth cover not only the capital of Azerbaijan, but also its regions.
