Azerbaijan prevents Armenian provocation, one soldier killed

The Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry commented reports of the Armenian media that allegedly Armenian serviceman Ayk Kalantaryan was killed as a result of ceasefire violation.
“Another provocation attempt of the enemy against the Azerbaijani Army positions on the frontline in Fuzuli direction was prevented and as a result of preventive measures taken by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, one Armenian soldier was killed and two others were seriously injured,” the Ministry said.
As a result of the death of one soldier and serious injury of two others, the Armenian Armed Forces had to retreat.
Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry added that the units of the Azerbaijani Army fully control the operational situation on the frontline.
