AZERBAIJAN READY TO HOST GALA-JUVE MATCH
In connection with terrorist acts in Istanbul that caused human losses, despite security guarantees of the Turkish Football Federation, UEFA leadership decided to put off the match between Galatasaray and Beshiktash and Juventus and Chelsea. UEFA considers conducting match Gala-Juve in Germany or Azerbaijan.
According to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism, Azerbaijan can host the match and ensure security measures. To this end, Azerbaijan has Republican stadium after Tofig Bahramov that meets UEFA standards. Juventus management stated the club agrees to hold the match in Baku since the last year’s match between Italian national team and Azerbaijan in Baku was highly administered.
