AZERBAIJAN TO TAKE WORTHY PLACE IN WORLD FOOTBALL
Opening the meeting, AFFA president Ramiz Mirzoyev noted that Haluk Ulusoy, famous businessmen in Turkey, managed some football clubs in Turkey. It is well known that following Haluk Ulusoy’s election as president of football association in 1997, the Turkish football became one of the world football leaders. In 2002, national team of Turkey became a bronze medallist.
Ramiz Mirzoyev said that people of Azerbaijan loves Turkey. Ten thousands of Bakuvites went out to streets to express their delight with victory at the world championship.
Haluk Ulusoy expressed hope that new AFFA leadership would make a break-through in the world and European football and Turkey would help AFFA.
