Azerbaijani and Kazakh military representatives hold meeting

In accordance with the 2025 Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan between the Ministries of Defense of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, a meeting was held in Baku between representatives of the two countries’ defense ministries, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
During the meeting, held at the Ministry’s International Military Cooperation Department, the Kazakh delegation received a briefing on the Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) program within the Azerbaijan Army, the ongoing reforms in the military education system, and the application of the planning, programming, and budgeting system in defense planning.
They then visited the OCC battalion, where they were familiarized with the implementation of NATO standards within the Azerbaijan Army.
The delegation was also presented with a detailed briefing on the OCC units and introduced to the weapons and military vehicles.
At the conclusion of the visit, questions of mutual interest were addressed, and both sides engaged in an extensive exchange of views.
