Azerbaijani-Czech intergovernmental commission to convene in Prague next month

“A meeting of the Azerbaijani-Czech intergovernmental commission will be held in Prague next month. We will try not only to promote economic relations with Azerbaijan, but also to further cooperation in the field of culture and tourism,” said Czech Ambassador to Azerbaijan Milan Sedláček as he addressed the event organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic at Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Czech diplomat emphasized that the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs were invited to the Czech Republic.
He hailed the current level of Azerbaijan-Czech bilateral relations.
Noting that Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic have a lot in common from the historical point of view, the diplomat said that he would pull out all the stops to strengthen friendship between the two peoples.
