Azerbaijani female chess player competing in International tournament in Uzbekistan

Azerbaijani female player Gulnar Mammadova is contesting medals at the 1st International “Women`s Chess Championship” tournament dedicated to the International Women`s Day held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on March 5-12.
After Round 2, Mammadova ties for 3rd-9th places with 2.5 points.
The Swiss system tournament, which brought together 111 chess players from 10 countries, features nine rounds.
The total prize fund is 50 000 US dollars.
