Azerbaijani female taekwondo fighter takes Konya 2021 gold

Azerbaijani female taekwondo fighter Farida Azizova has claimed a gold medal at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye.
She defeated Iranian Zeinab Ismaili in the 67kg final bout.
Azerbaijani male taekwondo fighter Javad Aghayev bagged a silver medal in the 68kg weight category after losing to Uzbekistan’s Ulugbek Rashitov.
