Azerbaıjani FM meets with President of World Economic Forum

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met with President of the World Economic Forum Børge Brende.
Børge Brende invited Minister Elmar Mammadyarov to the World Economic Forum on Middle East and North Africa to be held in Jordan on April 6-7, 2019.
President of the World Economic Forum Brende noted the importance of the Eurasia segment of this forum, which will be attended by foreign ministers of the Gulf countries.
Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov highlighted the objectives of his Geneva visit, and pointed to the 18th Summit of heads of state and government of the Non-Aligned Movement to be held in Baku on October 21-26 this year.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov briefed the World Economic Forum President about the current negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The sides also discussed the issues on regional and international agenda.
