Azerbaijani official attends meeting of European Volleyball Confederation in Luxemburg

An annual meeting of the Financial Commission of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) was held in Luxembourg.
Zohrab Gozalbayli, Head of the Communications Department of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation, attended the meeting along with other CEV officials, including Managing Director Vuk Karanovic, Vice-President and Treasurer Guy Juwet, and representatives of the organization’s finance department.
The discussions focused on the CEV’s action plan for 2026, the main directions of its financial policy, as well as funding mechanisms for international tournaments and competitions. Participants reviewed competition budgets, cost optimization measures, and the efficient management of financial resources.
The meeting also addressed the financial results of tournaments held throughout 2025, budget planning and financing models for upcoming events, and issues related to improving transparency in financial reporting and strengthening monitoring mechanisms.
