Azerbaijani U20 freestyle wrestler crowned European champion

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Haji Karimov has clinched the gold medal at the U20 European Wrestling Championships in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Karimov claimed the 70kg title after defeating France’s Bayssangour Bitmurzaev 10-0 in the final.
Other Azerbaijani wrestlers also delivered strong performances, with Muhammad Ismayilov (57kg), Bashir Verdiyev (65kg), and Farhad Suleymanli (97kg) each winning bronze medals.
