AZERBAIJAN`S AMBASSADOR TO RUSSIA HONORED WITH ORDER OF PRINCE ALEXANDER NEVSKY
Baku, February 17 (AZERTAC). Ambassador of the Azerbaijan Republic to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloglu was honored with the sacred relics of the Grand Prince St Alexander Nevsky, which is awarded by Inter-regional Public Fund of Assistance to preservation and development of patriotic and cultural traditions.
At the solemn ceremony in the State Concert Hall “Russia”, the Fund`s Chairman, People’s Artist of USSR Vasiliy Lanovoy and the known TV presenter Yuri Kovelenov handed over to the Ambassador of Azerbaijan the Diploma of the winner and statuette of sacred relics of the Grand Prince St Alexander Nevsky. P. Bulbuloglu received this high award in a special nomination “For preservation of the international peace, consent and strengthening friendship between the people of Russia and Azerbaijan”. Organizers of the action noted special contribution of the Ambassador to consolidation of friendly relations between two countries and development of cooperation in the field of culture both as the minister of culture of Azerbaijan, and in diplomatic field.
It is appropriate to note that this high award was earlier presented to such bright representatives of the Russian public, as the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexiy II, known politician Yevgeny Primakov and others.
