Azerbaijan’s beach volleyball teams set for European Championships

Azerbaijan’s national beach volleyball teams will demonstrate their skills at the European Championships for various age groups this September.
First, Azerbaijan’s U20 teams will compete at the European Championship in Battipaglia, Italy, set for September 3–6. Azerbaijan’s hopes will be pinned on Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli in the men’s event and by Sabina Alizada and Leyla Aliyeva in the women’s competition.
Azerbaijan’s U22 teams are also gearing up for the European Championship in Madrid, Spain, scheduled for September 10–13, with Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli competing in the men’s event, and Sabina Alizada and Leyla Aliyeva in the women’s competition.
The U18 teams will vie for medals in the European Championship in Izmir, Türkiye, through September 17–20. Emil Safronov/Tamerlan Taghiyev and Dilara Aghayeva/Leyla Aliyeva will represent Azerbaijan in the men’s and women’s events, respectively.
