Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry: Full responsibility for this crime lies on aggressor country Armenia
Baku, March 6, AZERTAC
“On March 5, 2020 the armed forces of Armenia again blatantly violated the ceasefire regime in the direction of Gazakh region of the Azerbaijan-Armenia state border. As a result, Orkhan Nazim oglu Pashazade, a soldier at the border post near the village of Gushchu Ayrim, Gazakh region, was killed by the enemy sniper fire. This bloody incident is an intentional provocation and the full responsibility for this crime lies on the aggressor country, Armenia,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan.
“The killing of our serviceman defending the internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan clearly demonstrates that the appeals of the aggressor Armenia to the peaceful resolution of the conflict are nothing but lies and hypocrisy. Such criminal and destructive activities of the political-military leadership of Armenia directly impede the international community's efforts, represented by the co-chairs the OSCE Minsk Group, to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through the negotiations.
May Allah rest the soul of our Martyr in peace,” the ministry added.
