Azercosmos engineers develop new “AlTvac 03” device for testing space equipment

Azercosmos engineers have designed and manufactured a Thermal Vacuum Chamber (TVAC) that enables the testing of small satellites and satellite components locally in Azerbaijan.
According to Azercosmos, thermal vacuum systems are an integral part of the satellite and space equipment testing infrastructure of leading space agencies around the world, including the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), as well as space companies.
The “AlTvac 03” device has successfully passed the required tests and is designed to assess the thermal and vacuum compatibility, reliability, and functionality of small satellites, their subsystems, and various spacecraft components under thermal-vacuum conditions before launch into orbit.
