BAKU TO HOST A MEETING OF THE WORLD AZERBAIJANIS’ COORDINATING COUNCIL
Several events under the common title “Azerbaijan - Door of the East to the World” will be held on December 17-20 in Baku, State Committee on the Affairs of Azerbaijanis Living Abroad announced. Members of the Coordinating Council of the World Azerbaijanis will attend the events.
The agenda also includes meeting of the Coordination Council, supported by the State Committee on the Affairs of Azerbaijanis Living Abroad to discuss sustainable development of Azerbaijani Diaspora. The meeting to be held on December 18 in Baku will bring together members of the Coordination Council of World Azerbaijani Diaspora to take up a draft of the “Charter of the World Azerbaijanis”, according to the Committee.
The Coordinating Council of the World Azerbaijanis was established at the First Congress of World Azerbaijanis. For now, the Council has 109 members.
