Baku Urban Week to host Voice of the City

On 16 May, the Voice of the City event will be held as part of Baku Urban Week, organized within the framework of the Azerbaijan Urban Campaign in the lead-up to the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
During the event, themes surrounding architecture and urban development will be brought to life through music, digital art, cinematic heritage, and contemporary creative expression.
The Jafar Jabbarli “Azerbaijanfilm” studio, the venue for the event, will be reimagined as a contemporary hub for audiovisual art. Throughout the evening, digital projections capturing the intersection of Baku’s historic memory and creative energy with modern artistic expression will illuminate the space, alongside live visual performances, mural-inspired concepts, and graffiti installations. The atmosphere will be further shaped by electronic music and DJ sets, adding a dynamic contemporary dimension to the programme.
Voice of the City will begin at 19:30 on 16 May 2026. Admission to the event will be free of charge, with entry available upon prior registration. Those wishing to take part may apply by completing the registration form.
