Barcelona set new unbeaten record after rescuing a draw against Valencia
Baku, February 11, AZERTAC
Wilfrid Kaptoum's late equaliser not only denied Gary Neville's Valencia a morale-boosting win, it also extended Barcelona's unbeaten record to 29 games, according to The Daily Mail.
Luis Enrique's team have not lost in any competition since October 3, and have now surpassed the club record, set by Pep Guardiola's team in the 2010/11 season.
It was the sixth draw in the run, which almost came to an end following Alvaro Negredo's first-half goal.
But substituted Kaptoum came on to equalise, scoring his first goal for the club in the process.
Barca were last beaten by Sevilla, now over four months ago, but Enrique, who matched Guardiola's mark in his 100th game as manager, said it was not his priority.
'When the season ends I'll tell you if we have done something good,' the Barca coach said after their 28th unbeaten game, against Levante..
