BARMEK TO SETTLE ENERGY SUPPLY PROBLEMS
The tender will be conducted among construction companies on the basis of transparency. In accordance with the project, high-voltage underground cables and overhead transmission lines are to be extended to settlements in Surakhani, Sabunchi and Azizbeyov districts of Baku, in particular, to villages Nardaran, Kurdakhanli and Turkan. Barmek specialists visited those villages and studied the scale of problems. H. Arabul does not rule out that about 10 billion manats will be spent on this kind of works i.e. above the project estimation. Winner of the tender will be defined on May 26 but works will start in June 2004.
Barmek will conduct a separate tender to settle such kind of problems in villages of Garadagh province of Baku. The company planned to change electrical counters in 5-storey buildings of Baku.
