Belarus and Azerbaijan explore implementation of joint projects
Baku, May 8, AZERTAC
“Economic relations between Belarus and Azerbaijan are developing dynamically. Both countries possess significant potential for expanding cooperation across deeper and broader areas. Cooperation between stock exchanges is also highly beneficial for further enhancing economic and trade ties,” said Belarusian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich during a seminar titled “Dialogue in Business.”
The ambassador noted that, under current circumstances, it is important to further strengthen bilateral ties and make economic and trade relations more sustainable.
“Import-export operations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are carried out under equal conditions. However, trading through stock exchanges is more transparent and helps reduce commercial risks. We are implementing several joint projects with Azerbaijan. One of them is a mixed fertilizer plant in Sumgayit, whose products will also be exported abroad. Another project involves the assembly of elevators and household appliances. I believe this progress will continue successfully and further stimulate the development of economic and trade relations between our countries,” Dmitry Pinevich emphasized.
