BOOK ON KARABAKH PRESENTED

On 30 October, at the International Press Center was held presentation of the book of the British journalist Thomas de Vaala “Black Garden” (Garabag), narrating on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Talking to AzerTAj correspondent, the author said that necessity of creation of the book was connected with the fact that the world community has no enough presentation on the reasons and sequences of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Taking into account this, I decided to write such a book. I have visited Azerbaijan, Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh, met with the simple people, public figures, politicians and interviewed many peoples on the reasons of emerging of the conflict. The book includes 120 interviews I have taken during two years.

The author acknowledged that despite his efforts he could not bring light to some items connected with Nagorno Karabakh. “Nevertheless, there are many moments of truth in my book”, he stressed.
