Brazilian official at WUF13: Urbanization model must be inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous

“The urbanization model must be inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous,” said Cristiana Scorza, Director of Urban and Metropolitan Development Structuring at Brazil’s Ministry of Cities, during her speech at a session titled “Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and Urban Green Transformation for Sustainable Urban Development” held within the framework of the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).
She noted that this concept aligns closely with the development of an integrated approach.
“I believe that this approach can also be adopted as a key direction in transportation policymaking,” she added.
