CANDIDATES TO 2ND CONGRESS OF WOMEN OF AZERBAIJAN
The conference heard reports and discussed decrees and edicts of the President related to women, the stage of implementation of the National Women Problems Plan of Actions passed by the Cabinet of Ministers basing on the Beijing Platform, as well as work done in the field of women affairs.
The speakers highly appraised care and support shown to women on behalf of the President of Azerbaijan and greeted policy carried out by the President, Dilruba Jamaloiva, Deputy Chairman of the Committee said. They pointed out rich experience of the President as a statesman, his efforts on achievement of cease-fire, his attention and aid to the development of different fields of economy, agriculture, his activities for protection of statehood of Azerbaijan and expressed their wish to give their votes for his nominee for upcoming Presidential Elections.
An address to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was passed according to results of the conferences and candidates to the 2nd Congress were elected.
