The sitting of the Milli Majlis permanent commission on social policy taken place on November 20 was mainly focused on the approval of the “Supplementary Protocol to Anti-doping Convention”, amendments to some laws on application of the Election Code, recognition of some legislative acts on application of the law “On Non-Governmental Organizations (Public Associations and Funds)”, draft law “On list of things not admitted to the civil circulation (things withdrawn from the civil circulation)” etc. Commission Chairman Khadi Rajabli said that the “Supplementary Protocol to the Anti-Doping Convention” implies the permission for testing sportsmen when crossing other countries’ borders.

The amendments to some legislative acts related to application of the Election Code, implies the improvement of the pensions’ provision for CEC members. The Amendments provide pensions for retired CEC members at the amount of 80 percent of their salary.
