CEC SAVES TWO BILLION
Chairman of the Central Election Committee Mazahir Panahov told AzerTaj that two of 22 billion manats allocated from the budget for the presidential elections have been saved and returned to the state budget, and that the presidential candidates who failed to overstep 5% barrier in the elections, must return the funds allocated to them. According to him, in case they do not do so of their own accord, the Central Election Commission will go the law.
Mazahir Panahov noted as well that two CEC members had left for Georgia to observe forthcoming parliamentary elections in the country.
