Chairman of Dagestan People's Assembly hails the country`s relations with Azerbaijan

Chairman of the People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan of the Russian Federation Khizri Shikhsaidov has praised his country`s relations with Azerbaijan as he met with Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov. “For many centuries the people of Azerbaijan and Dagestan have lived in peace and friendship,” he said. Shikhsaidov noted that Dagestan attaches special importance to its relationship with Azerbaijan.
Asadov emphasized Dagestan`s role in elevating Azerbaijan-Russia ties to the level of strategic partnership. He also emphasized the development of Azerbaijan-Dagestan relations in a variety of areas.
