Chairperson of Uzbekistan’s Senate of Oliy Majlis arrives in Azerbaijan

Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, arrived in Azerbaijan on Saturday to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
At Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Tanzila Narbayeva was welcomed by Azerbaijani MP Sattar Mohbaliyev, along with other officials.
On November 16-17, Baku will host a Parliamentary Meeting as part of COP29. Co-organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the event will welcome 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations.
