Chief of State Border Service of Azerbaijan visits Afghanistan
An Azerbaijani delegation led by Chief of the State Border Service, Lieutenant General Elchin Guliyev has visited Afghanistan.
The visit took place at the invitation of Afghan Minister of the Interior Mohammad Omar Daudzai and Commander of the Afghan Border Police (ABP), Lieutenant-General Mohammad Shafiq Fazli.
Elchin Guliyev had an expanded meeting with Commander of the Afghan Border Police Mohammad Shafiq Fazli.
They discussed border security system of Afghanistan, activities on the insuring of state borders, as well as the current problems.
Mr. Guliyev, as part of the visit, has met national security adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar, Defense Minister Bismillah Khan Mohammadi, Minister of the Interior Mohammad Omar Daudzai, First Deputy Minister of Interior Mohammad Ayub Salangi, minister of Commerce and Industries Muhammad Shaker Kargar.
President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has received Chief of the State Border Service Elchin Guliyev.
