China ‘interested’ in energy cooperation with Azerbaijan
Baku, January 6 (AZERTAC). China is interested in energy cooperation with Azerbaijan, said economic attache at the Chinese embassy, Li Talun.
He noted “if necessary infrastructure were in place, we would, of course, be interested in buying Azerbaijani gas.” “If, for example, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan conclude an agreement on laying a trans-Caspian gas pipeline, this will make the job easier.”
Talun pointed out a delegation of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan was recently in China and held negotiations with Chinese partners.
