Some cases of smuggling were suppressed at state border of Azerbaijan within past two weeks.

Attempt of illegal transportation of 150 diamonds and 1031 black alexandrite in sum $ 8 thousand, 3085 liter of diesel and 500 kg of sturgeon was suppressed on state border with Georgia, State Frontier Service reports.

Azerbaijani frontiers also revealed 11500 package of cigarettes of different marks, over 11 kg of caviar, over 101 km of “Sokol” mark powder, 18 fishing nets, 992 package of medicines illegally transported from Russia.

38 men were delayed for state border violence, 195 – for non-observance of frontier regime rules.
