Combined Arms Army marks its 12th anniversary

A ceremonial event marking the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the Combined Arms Army was held at the Combined Arms Army Training and Educational Center, the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
During the event, attended by military personnel of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense and the Combined Arms Army, a minute of silence was observed in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed.
Addressing the participants, Lieutenant General Kanan Seyidov, Commander of the Combined Arms Army, conveyed the congratulations of Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov to the personnel. He congratulated the servicemen on the significant occasion and wished them continued success in their professional activities.
The event also featured a video presentation highlighting the development of the army in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the reforms implemented over the past period.
With the participation of the creative team of the Combined Arms Army Training and Educational Center, national dances were performed and patriotic songs were presented.
At the conclusion of the event, military personnel and civilian employees who had distinguished themselves in the performance of their official duties were awarded.
