A seminar on the topic, “Rights of consumers”, was held at the Ombudsman Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ombudsman of Azerbaijan Ms. Elmira Suleymanova updated on the Law “On protection of the rights of consumers”, underlining the necessity of realization of concrete and efficient activity aimed at implementation of the provisions stipulated in the legislative acts, connected to their rights.

The Ombudsperson offered to carry out large enlightenment work, conduct similar arrangements connected to consumer rights, and bring to the notice of Milli Majlis and relevant bodies its concrete suggestions.

Making report at the seminar, chairman of the Union of Free Entrepreneurs Eyyub Huseynov spoke of the caducity if the Organization, of the relevant legislative acts regulating the sphere, arrangements conducted in the regions.
