COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED
Discussions were mainly held on experience exchange in establishment and development of durable cooperation between Ombudsman Institutes of Azerbaijan and Tatarstan. Ombudsman Elmira Suleymanova told about future plans and invited Rashit Vagizov to the sitting of the “round table” for the CIS and Eastern European countries to be held through the support of UNDP in November 2003 in Baku.
Ombudsman of Tatarstan Rashit Vagizov said that Institute would host a conference “Rights of Ethnic Minorities” to be held in Kazan in 2004, which would gather European ombudsmen. He expressed a hope for efficiency of cooperation with Ombudsman office of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, Ombudsmen Elmira Suleymanova and Rahit Vagizov signed a cooperation agreement.
