COP28 President: COP29 will achieve new success in Azerbaijan

“COP29 will achieve a new success in Azerbaijan,” said Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, President of COP28, as he addressed the official opening ceremony of COP29.
He underlined that currently 55 countries had officially joined the initiative to globally boost the renewable energy potential, but this number should be increased. According to him, more is still needed to describe the consensus reached in Dubai as historic.
