COP29 features opportunities for climate action in Troika countries

An event themed "Transitioning away from fossil fuels: challenges and opportunities for climate action in Troika countries” was held as part of COP29.
Initiated by the Center for International Relations Analysis and the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), the event featured discussions on roadmaps developed by Brazil and Azerbaijan to address the climate challenges during the transition to a sustainable energy future.
The event mainly focused on the role of oil and gas sector in the energy transition and the necessary funds for this transition.
The speakers of the meeting included Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Center for International Relations Analysis, Elnur Soltanov, Chief Executive Officer of COP29 Azerbaijan, Roberto Furian Ardenghy, CEO of the Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute, Shahmar Hajiyev, Senior Advisor of the Center for International Relations Analysis.
