“Croatia supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan,” said chairwoman of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee at Croatia`s parliament Romana Yerkovic as she met with Azerbaijan’s ambassador Fakhraddin Gurbanov.

The ambassador spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the provocations recently committed by the Armenians on the frontline. Gurbanov said it was important that the international community speed up efforts to resolve the conflict.

The two hailed relations and strategic cooperation between Croatia and Azerbaijan.

Speaking of cooperation within international organizations, ambassador Gurbanov expressed his confidence that Croatia would support Azerbaijan`s bid to host the Expo 2025.
