Defense Minister of Azerbaijan meets Turkish delegation

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov met with the visiting delegation of Turkey led by Deputy Minister of National Defense Hasan Kemal Yardimci, press service of the Defense Ministry said.
Zakir Hasanov said the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey has been established on the base of friendly and fraternal relations and is useful for both sides.
Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Hasanov stressed the importance of liberation of the occupied lands for the entire region.
Hasan Kemal Yardimci expressed pleasure with his visit to Azerbaijan, noted the role and significance of reciprocal visits for strengthening of mutual relations.
The sides had comprehensive exchange of views on the questions related to the regional and bilateral cooperation.
Turkish ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun took part at the meeting.
