DINA GORINA – WINNER OF AZERBAIJAN CALLISTHENICS CHAMP
Azerbaijan Calisthenics Championship with the participation of 20 sportsmen – candidates to master of sports and four gymnasts of honorary title ended at sports complex of the National Olympic Committee. At the contests, Alina Trepina (85,6 points) took the first place, Anastasiya Prosolova
(80,2 points) the second, and Christina Pavlunina (76,25 points) - the third one, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation reports.
There was a tense struggle among masters of sports. Contest of the national team gymnasts Dina Gorina and Valeriya Egay was stubborn. In final, Gorina with 101,65 points took the first place.
Main aim of conducting the Championship is to sum up results of 2003, as well as define members of Azerbaijan team. Azerbaijan Championship will be held on March 2004, as well the World Cup, in April.
