DINARA GIMATOVA GEARS UP TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Azerbaijani gymnast Dinara Gimatova will compete in the World Callisthenic Championship between 19 - 29 September in Budapest. According to Azerbaijan Callisthenic Federation, at present, the gymnast is training hard under the direction of her coach Irina Viner. The Federation’s heads hope for successful performance and gaining a license to Olympic games-2004.
Federation also reported on preparatory work to the Calisthenics Championship to be held in Baku in October 2005. In accordance with the International Calisthenics Federation’s recommendations, a working group has been created to go to Hungary to familiarize themselves with the preparations for the championship. In the course of the championship in Hungary, members of Azerbaijani delegation will conduct “Azerbaijani hour” action.
