DINARA GIMATOVA TO COMPETE IN GRAND PRIX IN MINSK
Azerbaijani athlete Dinara Gimatova is going to take part in the international Artistic Gymnastics Grand Prix to be held in Minsk on October 17-21, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation’s press-service reported. The competition is of great significance as a preparation stage for the upcoming 2004 Olympic games. According to her trainer Nadejda Kholodkova, Dinara Gimatova will be perfecting new elements, individual traits and expressiveness of the certain thing. Nadejda Kholodkova counts that she will be able to compete in the final on each section in order to secure a high place.
The athlete is in good mood, in particular, after the world championship where she managed to win an Olympic license among many famous contenders, the trainer said.
Dinara Gimatova will take part in show performances to be held in Minsk.
